Educational Qualification:

The candidates applied for TN TRB SGT Recruitment 2024 should complete 12th Pass / Diploma / Graduate / B.Ed is eligible to apply for this recruitment notification. Find below detailed information about the post announced recently

Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) 

1. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known); (or)
2. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002; (or)
3. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); (or)
4. Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education); (or)
5. Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known); and
6. Passed in the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) Paper – I

Age Limit:

Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT)

1. General Category – The upper age limit for the candidates belonging to General Category for appointment by direct recruitment to this selection is 53 years of age as on the first day of July of the recruitment year 2024.
2. All Others – Also the upper age limit for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Backward Class Muslims, Backward Classes, MBC/DNC and DW of all castes is 58 years of age as on the first day of July of the recruitment year 2024.

Salary:

The selected candidates will get monthly salary as per the norms of TN TRB SGT Notification 2024 mentioned below

1. Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT) – Rs.20,600 – 75,900/- Per Month
